For those who live locally, the siren can be heard throughout the day where residents see the heroic volunteers head out and care for local emergencies. Formed in 1944, Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company boasts a fleet of 9 Firefighting Apparatus, 4 EMS vehicles and two state-of-the Art Stations, as well as over 300 active members and well over 500 social members. The organization is also a staple center for community events and fundraisers.
